Аннотация. В статье прослеживается состояние угольной промышленности Приморского края в условиях социально-экономического кризиса 1990-х гг. Указывается, что в рассматриваемый период была проведена реструктуризация угольной отрасли, предусматривающая повышение конкурентоспособности угольной промышленности, создание стратегии саморазвития предприятий. Реструктуризация привела к закрытию шахт, сокращению добычи угля и ухудшению уровня жизни населения Приморского края.
Summary. The article covers the state of the coal industry of the Primorsky region in the conditions of the social and economic crisis of the 1990s. It is indicated that during the period under review, the coal industry was restructured, which provides for increasing the competitiveness of the coal industry, creating a strategy for the self-development of enterprises. The restructuring led to the closure of mines, a reduction in coal production and a deterioration in the living standards of Primorye.
