Аннотация. Аннотация. В статье рассказывается о состоянии экономики Южного Вьетнама в наиболее критический период – 1973–1975 гг. Война в Индокитае нанесла большой урон американской экономике. После подписания в 1973 году Парижских соглашений между Соединёнными Штатами и Демократической Республикой Вьетнам (ДРВ, Северный Вьетнам) и вывода американских войск из Индокитая Вашингтон вследствие политических и экономических причин значительно сократил объёмы помощи своему союзнику – Южному Вьетнаму. Прекращение участия американских войск во вьетнамской войне стало толчком для нарастания кризиса во всех хозяйственных структурах. Это неизбежно привело к спаду производства, росту безработицы, инфляции. Кроме вышеуказанного, причинами ухудшения экономического состояния стали иждивенчество, некомпетентность и коррупция государственных структур, топливный кризис 1973-1974 гг., значительное увеличение военных расходов. Экономический коллапс стал одной из главных причин победы коммунистов Южного Вьетнама в 1975 году.
Summary. Summary. The article tells about the state of the economy of South Vietnam in the most critical period 1973–1975. The Indochina caused heavy damage to the American economy. After signing in 1973 Paris Agreement between the United States and the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV, North Vietnam) and the US withdrawal from Indochina, Washington, due to political and economic reasons, significantly reduced aid levels to his ally – South Vietnam. Termination of the participation of American troops in the Vietnam war was the impetus for the rise of crisis in all economic structures. This inevitably led to a decline in production, increased unemployment, and inflation. Moreover, deterioration of the economic situation was caused by parasitism, incompetence and corruption of State structures, the fuel crisis of 1973-1974 and a significant increase in military spending. The economic collapse was one of the main reasons for victory of Communists forces in South Vietnam, 1975.
