Аннотация. Во второй части статьи (начало см. Ученые записки Комсомольского-на-Амуре государственного технического университета. 2017. № I-2(29). С. 63-66) исследуется развитие жанра биографии: рассматриваются требования, предъявляемые к жизнеописаниям теоретиками и практиками, а также примеры жизнеописаний, созданных в Англии в ХVIII – начале ХХI столетий.
Summary. In the second part of the article, the genre of biography is investigated (the first part is presented in Scholarly Notes of Komsomolsk-on-Amur State Technical University 2017. Vol. 2. № 1 (29). Pp. 63-66). Based on an analysis of biographers and critics' works, the main reasons for attention to biographies are defined, the requirements for biographies are covered on, and examples of biographies created in England in the eighteenth and the beginning of the twenty-first centuries are presented.
